Another Duggar relationship has hit the rocks. Three months after Amy Duggar King - the niece of "19 Kids And Counting" patriarch Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar - began her marriage to Dillon King, she discovered that her parents Deanna Duggar and Terry Jordan were ending their marriage.

Jordan filed for divorce against Deanna Duggar, 53, on Sunday, Dec. 20, in Washington County, Ark., according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com. Jordan claimed that the two separated because of his wife treated him "with such indignities as to render his condition in life intolerable."

"It has been quite a year to be a Duggar," the 29-year-old aspiring country singer told Entertainment Tonight. "The family has gone through a lot of heartache this year, but we will get through it. Right now, I just have to take lessons from all I've gone through this year and focus on my marriage."

Though Amy Duggar wasn't entirely shocked by her parents' split, she admitted that she was unhappy with the way her father chose to deliver the news. "They have had an on/off relationship for a long time," she shared. "It's sad they can't be a team. The divorce papers came, and my dad told me through a text on Christmas. I don't think he meant to, he just didn't know what to do. I was devastated. It hit me so hard."

"Christmas night we had my mom over and just held her. We watched movies together and just had such a special time to make her smile," she added.

Despite her parents' relationship drama, Amy Duggar King said she is hopeful about her future with her husband, whom she called her "rock" during this difficult time. "I'm glad I have Dillon to lean on and be my rock," she said. "Relationships are fragile. You have to communicate. If you keep everything bottled up, it's all going to crack one day."

Amy Duggar's family news comes four months after her cousin, Josh Duggar, entered rehab for sex addiction.
