On Christmas Eve, an obsessed fan showed up at Kylie Jenner's security gate and tried to force his way into her home, as HNGN previously reported. The fan, who is considered a stalker of the 18-year-old reality star as he had been to her mansion at least 10 times recently, was arrested and placed on a psych hold. He later escaped from the psych ward, creating a scary situation and causing concern for not only Jenner, but her entire family.

The L.A. County Sherriff's Department is now reportedly advising Jenner to get a restraining order against the man so he cannot come within a football field's distance from her or her home, law enforcement sources have told TMZ. Even though deputies were able to hunt him down after he escaped from the psych ward, they were only able to put him back on hold for another 72 hours, so given that he's an unstable person, it's likely that he will overstep these boundaries again once he's released, especially since he believes he and Jenner are "soulmates."

Police are also warning Jenner, who is the Snapchat queen and someone who posts to her 46.5 million Instagram followers multiple times a day, to calm down on social media, another source told TMZ. They believe that stalkers and obsessed fans are using her social media accounts as a way to find out more and more about her life and that her posts which show just how rich she is are just an invitation for robbers to make their way into her home.

Her family, including her mom Kris Jenner, also agree with this because they believe Kylie is overdoing it and giving away too much information about her life and her surroundings on on social media.

The popular reality star did admit that she plans on taking a step back from the spotlight eventually in life, according to the latest issue of Elle UK, but it doesn't look like she'll be quitting social media as soon as the police would like her to.

"Once I have a kid, I'm not going to be on Instagram," she told the magazine, according to Hollywood Life. "You know, I'll probably delete my Instagram and just...I don't know...live life. I would love to have a family and build a home with a farm in Malibu Canyon and just have my kids and throw away my phone, and just really, like, live my life and not do this anymore."
