Police have arrested "Glee" star Mark Salling for possession of child pornography, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Los Angeles Police Department arrested Salling early Tuesday morning on charges of possessing child pornography. The LAPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force carried out a search warrant and arrested the "Glee" alum in Sunland, Calif.

Reps for Salling have not responded to media requests.

Salling is best known for his portrayal of Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the Fox musical series that wrapped its six-season run earlier this year.

The 33-year-old actor settled a lawsuit earlier this year for shoving a woman named Roxanne Gorzela to the ground in a fight over an alleged sexual encounter. She sued him for sexual battery and claimed he forced her to have unprotected sex with him after he refused to wear a condom.

Gorzela returned a few days later to confront Salling about possibly contracting an STD and claimed he threw her down and severely injured her knees, according to TMZ. He countered that she broke into his place, attacked him and he defended himself.

The syndicated TV series, "Cime Watch Daily," originally reported the arrest, according to Variety.
