Miranda Lambert could be ringing in the New Year with a new man. The 32-year-old country singer, who split from ex-husband Blake Shelton, has reportedly been dating 27-year-old musician Anderson East for about a month, according to Us Weekly.

"They are really enjoying each other's company," a source close to Lambert told the publication. Another insider claimed that the new couple plans on "spending New Year's together."

"She couldn't have picked a better dude to have fun with. Anderson is the coolest guy," one of the musician's friends added. Both Lambert and East are avid hunters, according to Us Weekly. The "Little Red Wagon" singer has yet to publicly confirm she's dating East.

East, whose real name is Michael Cameron Anderson, is from Athens, Ala. Before releasing his debut album "Delilah" in July, the now Nashville-based singer paid his dues as a session musician. East also recently appeared on "Late Night With Seth Meyers."

This would be Lambert's first relationship since she and Shelton ended their four-year marriage in July. At the time, the former couple released a joint statement, saying, "This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately."

"Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try," Lambert said about her divorce in the January 2016 issue of Cosmopolitan. "I had a great relationship with an amazing man so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted."

In other Lambert related news, the "Over You" singer has hit the Twitter follow button for Gwen Stefani, the new girlfriend of her ex-husband, JustJared.com reported. Shelton and Stefani were spotted enjoying the Christmas holiday together in Oklahoma and attending an Arizona Cardinals game on Sunday.
