It can be really hard to cut out some of your favorite foods from your diet, but the results can make it absolutely worth it, and Khloé Kardashian is living proof of that! The 31-year-old reality star has been very open about her fitness and weight loss journey over the past year, but she recently opened up about her decision to ditch dairy to drop some serious weight, and the results are incredible.

"I'm obsessed with cheese and milk, but eliminating them from my diet (I did it gradually) made the biggest difference," Kardashian told New Beauty magazine. "In a month and a half, I lost 11 pounds just from not eating dairy, without doing anything else different, and that totally blew my mind."

As someone who loves things like pizza and ice cream, she knew she wouldn't be able to ditch them completely, so she found ways to swap her favorite dairy foods for healthier dairy-free alternatives, and this lead to the dramatic weight loss in such a short amount of time.

Back in August, Kardashian revealed that she had already lost about 35 pounds on her fitness journey so far thanks to spin classes, Pilates, waist training and tough training sessions with her trainer Gunnar, as HNGN previously reported.

"It does become addicting once you start losing weight and seeing results. You're like, 'I wanna see more,'" she said at the time, explaining that she'd become so into working out that she tries to go every single day no matter what. "I make sure that I go. And even 30 minute you feel, 'Ok, I feel good about myself,' and then if you want to eat something or whatever, you don't feel so bad."

This weight loss journey all started in 2012 when things started to get rocky with her ex-husband Lamar Odom. "I was having a hard time with Lamar. It was toward the end of our union and there was so much drama. I needed a release," she told Women's Health Magazine this past summer. "At first it was so hard. It was baby steps, but I started feeling so much better."
