Google is adding more fun and details for enthusiastic photographers on Google+. The latest update for the social media network will include full size backup for iOS, photo enhancements with auto-enhance, Snapseed, and auto-awesome.

Your Google+ photography experience is about to get better, thanks to the slew of new features Google is rolling out for its users. Google introduced the most significant improvements to its not-so-famous, yet quite successful social network, Google+, at the Google I/O 2013. The audience adored the Auto Awesome feature that allows automatic editing option for photos uploaded on the site.

Now, Google is taking the Auto Awesome feature to videos. But it does not stop here, the web giant announced several improvements to give Google+ users the best photography experience.

Firstly, let's talk about the Auto Awesome Movie mode. This feature will convert your video into a short movie clip, beautifully modified with "effects, transitions and a soundtrack" without you having to lift a finger. In addition to this, the new Auto Awesome Eraser mode removes any obstruction in your image, giving you a perfect picture. You are in total control of your images even after they are shot. No more waiting for the right moment to click a snap even in busy tourist places, which saves a lot of time indeed.

The Auto Awesome also includes Action mode. This new option takes a series of burst shots of an object in motion before creating a perfect picture in action.

Google also simplified how you search for images from your gallery. Now just a keyword, for example sunset, beach, pets, will display all related images from your library. The update will also add full size backup and background sync for iOS users. This option is already available in Android.

Users can improve the picture quality with the new auto-enhance and Snapseed, a new HDR Scape filter.

"With 540 million people active across Google each month, 300 million people active in just the stream and more than 1.5 billion photos uploaded every week, the Google+ community is growing faster than we ever could have imagined. Today's updates are our way of saying "thank you"-we hope they save you time, and help you share your story," Vic Gundotra, Google Senior Vice President, said in the company's blog post.
