Freshpet put together a follow up video to their highly successful "Holiday Feast" video last year, with this year's new sensation that takes place in Santa's workshop, "Santa's Elves." Last year's video was shared more than 70 million times on Twitter and Facebook, and this year's creation should hit that mark easily. The huge ensemble consists of 15 dogs and three cats who bring mayhem to the workshop as they all try to help Santa, according to Freshpet. We think you will agree, the resulting video is hysterical.

The best part, besides the delightful visual of the group of cats and dogs with human hands building toys, is the fact that all of the dogs in the video were from the shelter and have since been adopted, according to the Huffington Post. The three cats are still available for adoption through Salt Lake County Animal Services in Utah.

Marnie, the shih tzu in the starring role, is a 13-year-old who was adopted just three years ago, as a 10-year-old senior. Marnie has gone on to pen her own book after she was adopted and has 1.8 million followers on Instagram.

In the spirit of the holidays, Freshpet has also pledged to give back to the shelters, and for each video shared, they are donating a meal to a needy pet in their network of approved shelters and rescues - so please, share on your social media, feed a shelter pet in need!

And if the video isn't cute enough, take the time to see the behind the scenes mayhem when you put that menagerie of pets, their adopted owners, fosters and the crew together, according to Mashable. See what is involved in getting the end result, a perfect marriage of humans, adoptable pets and Christmas magic.
