"Jackass" star Steve-O has already been released from prison after only serving nine hours of his 30-day sentence due to overcrowding, according to TMZ.

The former reality star turned himself in Wednesday night for what was supposed to be a month-long stay at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles. Before he entered the facility, he posted an Instagram video of himself doing a backflip off a wall outside the prison.

"Here we are at Twin Towers Correctional Facility. This is my reservation," he tells the camera. "And I'm ready, let's go!"

"Here I am at jail. See ya when I see ya, folks," he captioned the video.

Steve-O was arrested this past October for climbing a crane in Hollywood, Calif. to protest against SeaWorld, as HNGN previously reported. While on the crane, the 41-year-old inflated a large killer whale balloon that read "SeaWorld Sucks" and lit fireworks from the top of the crane. When he finally climbed down to the bottom, he was placed under arrest and was charged with five criminal charges, creating a false emergency, use of unregistered fireworks, storing fireworks without a permit, possession of fireworks without a permit and trespassing. He was later sentenced to the 30 days in prison.

"After taking a hilarious mug shot, I wound up spending less than eight hours in jail," Steve-O captioned an Instagram picture of him and his dog after he was released. "Thanks to all of the good people at Twin Towers Correctional Facility for making my stay a great one #yeahdude #SeaWorldSucks."
