Actress and fashion designer Melissa McCarthy showed off her dramatic weight loss results as she modeled some of her favorite looks from her new holiday line Melissa McCarthy Seven7, E! News reported. The "Bridesmaids" star posed for fun, festive photos dressed in her own designs.

In one shot, the 45-year-old mom of two is wrapped in white Christmas lights wearing a black, V-neck long-sleeved tunic with silver sparkle embellishment on the shoulder panels. She completed the look with a pair of black skinnies and added a pop of color with red open-toe pumps. In another photo, McCarthy hung Christmas tree ornaments wearing a printed long-sleeved tunic, black pants with a sparkling detail down the side and nude peep-toe pumps.

The photos were taken by photographer Brian Bowen Smith, and he opened up about what it was like working with the "Spy" actress during the photo shoot.

"It's fitting it was a holiday shoot. It felt like a party," Smith told E! News in a statement. "Melissa was great and shocker funny. She has a very good handle on what she wants and how to achieve it."

McCarthy looked great in the shots after achieving her weight loss goal of 50 pounds, according to the Daily Mail.

The Oscar-nominated actress branched into fashion when her Melissa McCarthy Seven7 line launched this fall, and she designs clothes for women sizes four through 28. She opened up about her goal to provide fashionable clothes for women of all sizes in an interview with Refinery29 earlier this year.

"Women come in all sizes. Seventy percent of women in the United States are a size 14 or above, and that's technically 'plus-size,' so you're taking your biggest category of people and telling them, 'You're not really worthy,'" McCarthy told Refinery29 in August. "If you're going to make women's clothing, make women's clothing."
