The Amazing Spider-Man 2 film is turning out to be more packed with villains for Spidey to take down than the Avengers has heroes to root for. A recent post from a Spider-Man site indicates that the film will might sport two more villains than the ones we already know about.

The cast has already billed Jamie Foxx as Electro and Paul Giamatti as the Rhino. Now, according to the Daily Bugle Tumblr blog hints at a few new villains from the comics in a fake article outlining the upcoming criminal trial of Dr. Curt Connors for the mayhem he caused to New York City as the Lizard in the first "Amazing Spider-Man" film.

"A trial date has been set in the New York Appellate Court for alleged bio-terrorist Dr. Curt Connors. The former Oscorp biogenetics scientist has been indicted on twenty city and state counts, including trespassing, malicious destruction of property, theft of private property, aggravated assault, and using a weapon of mass destruction. Connors has pleaded 'not guilty' to all counts. It is expected his defense attorney, Anne Weying, will claim Connors was not responsible for the actions of his genetically transformed alter ego, the Lizard."

As IGN points out, in he Earth-616 Universe, Anne Weying is married to Eddie Brock and eventually bonds with the alien symbiote that turned him into the villain Venom. This turns her into She-Venom, another hard fought villain of everyone's favorite friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

In addition, the mock article was "written by" Bugel reported Ned Leeds. In the comics, Leeds eventually becomes the third alter ego of the Hobgoblin. It's worth noting that the article does nothing to hint that these fake articles don't necessarily hold much weight in terms of casting rumors. Also, it's not a important to realize that the article does nothing to indicate that these characters exist in their post-villainous roles at the time of this article. Meaning this could either be a hint of what's to come in the upcoming sequel, a setup for a third film or perhaps it's just a wink to the fans who may recognize the names.
