Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen chose not to reprise their "Full House" role as Michelle Tanner in the Netflix reboot, "Fuller House," but the show will address their character's absence in a way that mirrors the women's real lives.

Michelle moved from San Francisco to New York City to work on creating her fashion empire, according to Us Weekly. Of course, the Olsen's twins did very much the same thing when they stepped away from the cameras to launch fashion lines such as The Row and Elizabeth and James.

Later in the first season, the "Fuller House" characters will also prank-call Michelle with her famous catchphrase, "You got it, dude!"

Candace Cameron Bure will return to star as D.J. Tanner, who is recently widowed. She asks her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) to move in and help raise her children.

"Full House" stars John Stamos, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier are all scheduled to make appearances on the show.

"Fuller House" will premiere in 2016 on Netflix.
