The full list of nominations for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards has been announced! On Monday morning, 15-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys revealed the four General Field categories, which are Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist on "This Morning" on CBS, according to E! News. Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd were all big names in these categories while Meghan Trainor, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly, Courtney Barnett, and James Bay are all up for Best New Artist.

About fifteen minutes after this announcement, all 83 categories were announced on the official Grammys website. The Grammys, which are the biggest night in music, will take place at the L.A.'s Staples Center on Feb. 15, 2016 and will be broadcast in high-def and 5.1 surround sound on CBS at 8 p.m. ET. The hosts, presenters and performers have not yet been announced, but it's bound to be an exciting and eventful night as always.

Kendrick Lamar is the leading nominee for 2016 awards with 11 nominations for songs from his album "To Pimp a Butterfly." Taylor Swift and The Weeknd are tied for second-most nominations with seven for their albums "1989" and "Beauty Behind the Madness." Lamar and Swift are also nominated a few times for their hit collaboration "Bad Blood."

"There's a broad spectrum and certainly it shows there's been quite a bit of wonderful and excellent recordings in the last year," Recording Academy CEO Neil Portnow told The Associated Press of this year's nominees.

As for Lamar's work, "It's a testimony to his artistry," Portnow said. "He's someone that's very serious about his art and about his craft, and has been working it for quite some time. And this is one of those instances where the work pays off."

Since the eligibility window for this round opened from September 2014 to September 2015, Adele, Justin Bieber and One Direction did not make the cut for their hit albums, which were released in October and November.
