When Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak learned about the iPad Air, which the company debuted on Tuesday at a major press event in San Francisco, he immediately e-mailed his wife telling her not to bother buying him one as a gift. He simply doesn't want one.

"I can't order a movie from iTunes and watch it straight away," said Wozniak. "I could wait for it but I get bored by then. It's because of my lousy phone company, but that is life."

Mashable reports that Wozniak doesn't have broadband. However, besides the fact that one of the most famous gadget makers on the planet doesn't have the fastest Internet access possible, that's not exactly what's holding him back from purchasing the new iPad Air.

"Yes it's thinner, but I wanted storage," he said during a presentation at Apps World in London, as reported by TechRadar. "I don't have broadband at home, so I carry all my personal media in the iPad. So I was hoping Apple has a 256GB iPad."

Right now, Apple offers a 128GB storage option for the iPad, one of the largest storage options for any non-Windows tablet, but that doesn't seem to be enough for Wozniak. Due to his slow Internet connection, streaming is probably out of the question meaning he'll have to sit through downloads which can take a very long time.

"I can't order a movie from iTunes and watch it straight away," he said. "I could wait for it but I get bored by then. It's because of my lousy phone company, but that is life."

This isn't the first time the former Apple co-founder has spoken out against the tech company's innovations. When the iPhone 5S debuted he went on record as saying that the Chinese market wouldn't be impressed with the iPhone 5C.
