While last week's trailer for Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" was met with widespread praise, fans were also left scratching their heads just a bit. "Where's Spider-Man?" became a popular trending topic following the trailer's debut and, to this point, we still haven't caught a glimpse of the popular wall-crawler. We know Tom Holland will be making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Spider-Man in "Civil War," but we don't know how big his role is or which side he is on.

However, a recent post may have offered us a small clue.

The above image, screenshotted by 9gag user mikethegreat1, shows a promotional poster for the upcoming film that was posted on Marvel's Facebook page before being taken down shortly after. At first glance, it just looks like Captain America's shield and half of Iron Man's mask. But take a closer look.

There is definitely webbing strewn all about Cap's shield and we all know that can only come from one person. Does this mean that Spider-Man is on Iron Man's side? Recent rumors had suggested that Holland and Chris Evans had filmed a fight scene together.  Perhaps they were fighting one another.

In the original comic, Spider-Man switches sides throughout the conflict. However, the MCU version will not be a direct adaptation of the source material, meaning directors Joe and Anthony Russo will likely take several creative liberties. Despite the inferences we can make from the poster, we still have no clue what Peter Parker's role is in "Captain America: Civil War."

What do you think, Marvel fans? Is Spidey teamed up with Tony Stark or is this just a cool image that we're all reading way too much into? Let us know in the comments section below.
