The NHL's Anaheim Ducks got into the swing of the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" mania on Wednesday, putting on a "Star Wars" night, which the team promised would provide chances to meet characters from the movies and feature "special 'Star Wars entertainment throughout the game."

By far the best aspect of the entire evening had to have been the promotional video the team put together to mark the event. Check it out for yourself.

Yes, that is Corey Perry who gets the "Great shot, kid! That was one in a million," treatment from Han Solo. The blaster sound effects are pretty great, as is the fact that the team paid homage to both the original films and the soon-to-be-released sequels, starting with "The Force Awakens," which will hit theaters Dec. 18. John Boyega looks particularly petrified by trying to find a parking spot at the Honda Center.

According to The Hockey News, there were quite a few people, fans and otherwise, in costume. Even the ice crew rocked some Princess Leia outfits and the Ducks' mascot, Wild Wing, spent his night wreaking havoc around the arena as a Sith Lord.

Minor league teams across nearly all of the major sports tend to do the "Star Wars" promotion thing pretty well. Check out these X-Wing helmets put together earlier this season by the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League.

Pretty great job by the Lancers' equipment crew.

But it sure sounds like the Ducks used their considerable resources to take the fun to another level.

Perhaps best of all, the video above featured a quote from legendary Jedi master Yoda that the Ducks can hopefully use as a rallying cry for the remainder of the 2015-16 NHL season: "Do, or do not. There is no try."
