Following R. City and Adam Levine's special performance of their collaboration "Locked Away", "The Voice" got straight down to the results last night.

Team Blake started the night out well with country cutie Emily Ann Roberts announced safe. Team Adam followed suit with news that Jordan Smith was also saved by America's vote.

A save for Team Gwen was awarded to Jeffrey Austin followed by Team Blake with Barrett Baber, who would both move into next week's semifinals.

Team Pharrell received a reprieve with Madi Davis surviving another week to carry her team's flag. Team Adam's Amy Vachal followed Davis into the safety zone.

After pop diva Sia performed her single "Alive," Zack Seabaugh and Shelby Brown, of Teams Blake and Adam respectively, were announced as safe, meaning both teams enter the semifinals unscathed.

That left bad news for Team Gwen, as Braiden Sunshine, along with perennial bottom-two member Korin Bukowski, would be singing for America's instant Twitter save.

Bukowski performed Colbie Caillat's "Try." However, a mishap with the lyrics left her performance looking very dicey when it came to being awarded another save.

Following some encouraging words from all the coaches to Bukowski regarding her forgetting the words, Sunshine took his moment in the spotlight to perform "Harder To Breathe" by Maroon 5.

Maroon 5 frontman Levine complimented the performance by saying, "You have the best taste ever." Sadly, a third time singing for her life was not to be a charm for Bukowski, as America agreed with Levine and awarded the Twitter Instant save to Sunshine by a 2 percent margin.

"It does eat at your soul every time you have to be there," revealed Bukowski via telephone this morning. "I did have that 'not again' kind of feeling. But you pull through as best as you possibly can."

"I had a feeling about the results because of the way my performance went out," she added. "I was just too emotional and the emotions got a hold of me, and my performance. But I'm very happy for Braiden."

Still, one plus for the young singer was the support of the coaches who comforted her when it came to forgetting her lyrics.

"Having the coaches' support was really heartwarming," she said. "It's embarrassing to have that happen to you, but it happens to everyone. Having Gwen stand up and explain why it happened, she understood why, so it was amazing to have them all understand."

However, knowing how emotional the song would have made her, Bukowski told HNGN she wouldn't have changed a thing.

"Honestly I wouldn't take back anything that happened last night," she shared. "I entered the competition an awkward, confused, quirky person, and I feel like throughout the competition I lost a little of myself and my magical quality. But I exited the way I entered and wouldn't take that back for the world."

Going into her past two Twitter Save performances, Bukowski has had to sing off against members of Team Pharrell, so was having to sing against a fellow teammate even more difficult?

"You get close to everyone," she explained. "But I'm with my teammates the most. Braiden is one of the sweetest kids and lovable, so it was difficult going against him, but we all have to go against people we don't want to, so no matter who it was, it wouldn't have been fun."

As for the future the pre-med student, who left her studies to audition for "The Voice," she said she might have found a new calling when it comes to her career.

"The show has flipped my life upside-down," she said, laughing. "I auditioned because I thought what did I have to loose? Now I think I'm really going to pursue music. I wasn't happy where I was. This showed I love to perform and write music. I'm going to try to stay on the radar and stay active on social media. I want to write and get some music out there too."

Just don't ask Bukowski who she thinks is a frontrunner to become this season's champ.

"That is so difficult to say," she squealed. "Everyone is so crazy. amazingly good - I have no idea. There are just too many amazing artists, it's hard to tell."

Next week "The Voice" moves into the semifinal rounds with superstar Dolly Parton guest mentoring the remaining nine contestants. Tune in at 8 p.m. Monday on NBC to see how they do and vote for your favorite.
