An American Airlines flight attendant is currently facing federal charges after she allegedly attacked several members of the airplane's crew as well as U.S. Marshals on both legs of the airliner's flight from Charlotte to Frankfurt, Germany, according to The Bellingham Herald.

The woman, Joanne Snow, who actually described herself as "crazy" and a "train wreck," was charged with interference with flight crew members and attendants. She was also charged with assault on the officer or employee of the United States.

In the complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court in Charlotte, federal air marshal Joseph Fialka stated that Snow's behavior had already been noticed by her fellow crew members prior to the flight. Despite her colleagues requesting for her removal, American Airlines' management opted to not remove her, reports Dallas News.

Fialka further stated that he ended up in the receiving end of Snow's rage about 45 minutes into the flight, being shoved several times by the irate flight attendant.

"She was quite irrational at this time. She proceeded to the back of the plane. I learned that, while in the back of the plane, she grabbed the collar of the clothing of another marshal and spoke nonsensical things," he said.

Even after he tried to calm her down, the U.S. marshal stated that Snow proceeded to slam him hard across his chest.

"The force of this action moved me back. I weigh considerably more than Snow," he added.

Snow's behavior continued during the entire duration of both legs of the flight. After landing, her behavior escalated to yelling and screaming as she attempted to get around passport control. Fialka then proceeded to handcuff her for her own safety and, after getting kicked five or six times, he, together with another law enforcement officer, was able to properly restrain her.
