The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NBA so far this season as they are 6-9 a year after making the playoffs. Many people thought the Bucks would easily be a playoff team but they still haven't figured it out this season just yet. On Friday night the Bucks will be without their head coach too as Jason Kidd was suspended one game by the NBA, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

Kidd was not very happy with the refs in general on Wednesday night as the Bucks lost to the Sacramento Kings but he was ejected when he swiped the ball out of a refs hands. The NBA released a statement on the suspension.

"Kidd was punished for aggressively pursuing and confronting a game official, slapping the ball out of his hands and not leaving the court in a timely manner upon his ejection,"  said NBA executive vice president of basketball operations Kiki Vandeweghe.

Kidd had to be restrained after being ejected by O.J. Mayo and an assistant coach and that was part of the reason for the suspension. Kidd said that his arguing and being ejected was his way of protecting his team from what he felt was bad officiating.

"I walked all the way down to get a timeout, and then we had our discussion. He gave me the T and from there, I'm trying to protect my guys. Understanding we felt we were getting fouled and the whistle wasn't being blown. What happens in this league, you have to stand up for yourself, and my job is to protect those young guys," said Kidd.

As a result of the suspension Kidd will miss Friday nights game against the Orlando Magic and he will not be paid. Kidd wasn't the only one involved in an altercation on Wednesday night though as players from both the Bucks and the Kings were reportedly involved in a heated verbal exchange in the tunnel after the game.
