David Price is expected to be the most expensive free agent on the market this offseason, but that hasn't stopped multiple teams from showing interest in the left-hander.

The latest rumors regarding Price are just about what most MLB fans would have predicted.

"The essential dynamics, though, remain unchanged -- the teams with the most interest in Price, in no particular order, are the Cubs, Cardinals, Dodgers, Giants and Red Sox, according to major-league sources," writes FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal.

And it appears his team for the second half of the 2015 season will not be in the running for his services.

"While Price enjoyed his time with the Blue Jays and is open to returning to Toronto, the Jays are not expected to be a major factor in his free agency, sources say."

It doesn't appear as if new president and CEO Mark Shapiro is keen on adding such mammoth contracts to the Blue Jays' payroll.

Nonetheless, almost every team involved in the running for Price provides some sort of appeal.

The Cubs have a promising young core built for the foreseeable future and manager Joe Maddon coached Price during his time with the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Red Sox could offer him the most money with their endless spending power and provide Price with a familiar territory - the AL East division.

The Cardinals are MLB royalty and St. Louis is the closest out of any of these other cities to Price's hometown of Nashville, Tenn.

The Dodgers may also throw the most money at him and would give him an opportunity to pitch next to Clayton Kershaw as well as reunite with former general manager Andrew Friedman (the two were in Tampa Bay together as well).

The Giants possess one of the most favorable clubhouse cultures in the MLB and could be poised for another World Series run as we head into an even-numbered year. Their core of star players is also among the best in the MLB.

There are a ton of advantages no matter where Price ends up, but it's all up to him as he has no shortage of a selection.
