The sad, slow slide for former NFL running back Joseph Randle continued on Tuesday night. According to a report from TMZ Sports, Randle was arrested outside of the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, KS shortly after 10:30 p.m. He is facing several charges, including felony criminal threats, misdemeanor assault of a law enforcement officer, interference with a law enforcement officer, battery, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.

Per the report, casino sources indicated that Randle, 23, was asked to leave because he was "too drunk." Randle, apparently incensed, is said to have spat on the floor and "assaulted a security officer" on his way out.

But the former fifth-round pick couldn't leave it at that, allegedly returning to the casino floor where he was "confronted" by a Kansas Gaming and Racing Commission agent, who asked him to leave. Randle then attempted to "fight" the agent, at which point other KGRC agents joined the fray and took Randle into custody.

According to TMZ, Randle remains in custody and is being held on $25,000 bail.

This isn't the first time that Randle has faced legal issues. Since joining the NFL via the 2013 draft, Randle has been arrested twice. He was taken into police custody after attempting to steal cologne and underwear from a department store in Texas earlier this year. He was also arrested in Feb. for unlawful possession of marijuana in connection with a domestic violence incident involving Randle's son and the mother of his child.

Randle was said to have threatened the woman while wielding a gun.

The former Oklahoma State back was released by the Cowboys only a month ago amid reports that he was facing a suspension for the domestic violence incident. At the time, Dallas team owner Jerry Jones indicated that he was concerned over Randle's mental state.
