PlayStation isn't just for the TV anymore. A new, unofficial app has been created allowing users to stream games from their PlayStation 4s to other devices like the PlayStation Vita and PCs, according to IGN.

The program has been coined, simply enough, Remote Play PC, according to Engadget. The goal of the program is to allow PCs to sync with PlayStation consoles allowing for wireless gameplay.

Originally created for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable, Sony has had the idea to introduce remote streaming for years, according to Engadget. However, the release of the new PlayStation 4 allowed for the idea to gain traction and support.

In the end, though, it wasn't Sony that came up with a working software to meet the demands of its consumers.

The Remote Play PC app was created for Windows by a third-party developer, according to PC Mag. This is why the app is considered "unofficial" and isn't guaranteed to last. There's a very good chance Sony will either shut down or disable the app once it gets wind of its expected success.

The app goes live Wednesday, Nov. 25, according to IGN. It will be sold on the app store for $10, expenses that the developer, known as Twisted, says go toward providing user support.
