Fresh from losing fellow member Mark Hood in last week's elimination round of "The Voice," Team Pharrell fared very well this week, turning in two stellar performances. Hood might be gone, but according to remaining team members Madi Davis and Evan McKeel, he's not forgotten.

"It was tough," McKeel told HNGN after last night's performance show. "I'm feeling it most now as he bought such a life to things."

"We miss him terribly, but he'll be back for the finale," added Davis. "We've talked to him and he's doing good."

With Thanksgiving on everyone's mind, family members joined the vocalists for their journey this week, giving relatives an insight into what a week on the show is like.

Team Adam's Shelby Brown launched the night, delivering a powerhouse countrified version of the Lady Gaga's "You And I." The coaches praised her delivery, and coach Gwen Stefani's only criticism was "save your growl for special moments."

"I respect lady Gaga so much, she stands up for who she is and she's such a role model," Brown told HNGN after the show. "I know a lot of people wouldn't say that, because of how 'off-the-wall' she can be, but she's admitted she's had to kind of take a step back. 'You And I' is one of my favorite songs of hers. I heard it as a country song first, before hers, but I love Lady Gaga."

Evan McKeel of Team Pharrell handled the evening's challenge, "Smile" by Nat King Cole, like a true pro, making his parents and coach proud. "I feel you let people in, and that was a super intimate moment," remarked Williams adding, "that was a smart move."

"Last week was more about performing and letting yourself out to the people," McKeel revealed post-show. "So yeah, this was more, 'I am staying here, and if you want to see it, you are going to have to come to me.' I thought it went great."

Team Blake's Barrett Baber put his "personal stamp" on the Tanya Tucker hit "Delta Dawn," an unlikely song choice. "You took a song that had nothing to do with church, and you just took us all to church," an enthused Blake Shelton after the performance.

"I had that song in my back pocket so I sent a tape of me doing it acoustically to Blake, and that was it," he revealed after the show. "I knew that when the chorus hit I wanted it to be gospel, and the interesting thing about 'Delta Dawn' is the chord progression is the exact same as 'Amazing Grace' in the chorus - I thought I gotta take this to church."

Fresh from her stint in the bottom two last week, Team Gwen's Korin Bukowski went with an obscure Mandy Moore song, "Only Hope." "I'm so happy and so proud of you," said Stefani. "You got to have your moment up there tonight."

Amy Vachal of Team Adam tackled "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift. The whimsical reworking, which even saw the artist lose her guitar for the song, was the perfect choice. "You have completely triumphed in creating these different versions of these songs," complimented Adam Levine.

"Adam came up with the song, it wasn't on any of my lists," Vachal said with a laugh post-performance. "We collaborated and tried a bunch of different songs, and finally he said, 'We are doing this.' I started out playing the guitar, but as an art piece it didn't fit. Still I did get to play air ukulele, and I infused a vintage feel to it."

This season's heartthrob, Zach Seabaugh of Team Blake, performed "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not?" by Thompson Square. Needless to say, the response was overwhelming. "That's cheating," Stefani said, laughing. "You looked so cute singing that song, it was the perfect song."

"I was like, the one thing you can tell me is I am cheating?" joked Seabaugh after the show. "But this is the type of song I enjoy singing. I pitched it to Blake, and he agreed, so I hope I delivered a good performance. Still, Adam noticing my vocal ability meant a lot."

Team Pharrell's Madi Davis performed "Love Is Blindness" by U2, and the result was nothing short of perfection. Her rehearsal saw the 16-year-old garner comparisons to Adele from her coach, while the performance reduced her father to tears. Coach Blake even remarked, "That was the performance of the night!"

"I feel I had a moment, yeah," revealed Davis post-show. "To see my family so touched and my dad sobbing... to feel that acceptance after laying it all out there was so fulfilling. But I don't think Adele needs to shaking in any of her fur anything!"

For 15-year-old Braden Sunshine, coach Gwen chose "True" by Spandau Ballet. Sunshine managed to rise to the occasion and deliver a solid performance way beyond his years.  "That worked so well and was different," commented Shelton, adding that the pairing of Sunshine with Stefani was one of his favorite things about this season.

Team Adam's Jordan Smith was given "Who You Are" by Jessie J. Every ounce of emotion he summoned for the performance was met with praise from the coaches. "You are one of the best performers I know, you sing like you do and with conviction," praised coach Levine.

"Picking songs this week was a task unto itself," Smith revealed later. "Adam and I landed on this song, and I'm glad. I love the message in the song and kind of with my trajectory on the show it fit perfectly with my story, what I am trying to get out of the show and represent - It's OK not to be OK and no one is perfect."

Emily Ann Roberts of Team Blake performed a flawless bluegrass reworking of "Why Not Me" by The Judds, proving her experience goes way beyond her 17 years. "You are going to be around for a very long time," said a thrilled Shelton.

"Blake said something like that after my knockout round," revealed Roberts post-show. "That's incredible, to get that kind of compliment from someone in the business - it's awesome and means so much to me. I second guess myself a lot, but stuff like that builds my confidence."

Jeffery Austin of Team Gwen closed out the evening with "Dancing On My Own" by Robyn. Following his masterful delivery, coach Gwen gave him a tearful standing ovation. "I love you and am blown away, you moved me to tears," she said.

Tonight, another contestant gets sent home, just in time for Thanksgiving, when "The Voice" eliminations continue at 8 p.m. on NBC.
