Gwen Stefani has had a rough couple of weeks after it was revealed that her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale was cheating on her with their nanny, as HNGN previously reported. The No Doubt singer opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about how she is moving past her heartbreak with help from her new flame, Blake Shelton.

"I'm in a good place. I'm having a lot of fun," Stefani told DeGeneres. "It's like a whole new life, a whole new chapter. It's been so great to be on 'The Voice' and be around all that music."

Stefani then revealed that before she started working on "The Voice," she "didn't even know who" Shelton was because she is "an O.C. girl, what would I know?"

In the episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the two discussed their admiration for the country singer and "The Voice" judge. They even dared to call him "a musical genius."

Stefani and Shelton officially announced that they were a couple earlier this month after they had been dodging the question for some time, as HNGN previously reported. The two were both newly single before they got together after divorcing their previous partners over the summer. Stefani and Rossdale were married for 13 years and announced their divorce in August. Everything was finalized in October. Shelton was previously married to fellow country artist Miranda Lambert. The couple married in 2011 before announcing and finalizing their divorce in July.
