Kim Kardashian's birth of her first baby, daughter North West, wasn't easy, and she and her husband Kanye West were very lucky to even be able to conceive the second time around. With her due date just a month away, the 35-year-old reality star is getting a little nervous about what could happen during the birth of her son.

In a new blog post on Monday, Kardashian wrote all about her second "high-risk pregnancy" and suffering from preeclampsia, which is a serious condition in which you must deliver early to protect yourself and your baby. They had to take North six weeks early, and even during the birth, she then suffered more complications when her placenta stayed attached to her uterus, making her "definitely scared" about delivering baby number two.

"My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails," she wrote, remembering the painful experience of giving birth to North. "My delivery was fairly easy, but then going through that-it was the most painful experience of my life! They gave me a second epidural, but we were racing against time, so I just had to deal."

Thanks to her doctors, Kardashian and West were able to conceive again, but because of these health issues, the risk of the issues happening again is very high.

"With the issues I had last time, my risk of having preeclampsia and placenta accrete are increased and there's not a whole lot I can do to prevent it," she wrote. "So my anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery."

She then thanked her longtime doctor, Dr. Paul Crane, for always calming her down and helping her every step of the way. "My advice to anyone going through this or anything difficult during pregnancy is that all you can do is be hopeful," she wrote. "Get the best information out there and just be prepared."

With their baby boy expected to come into the world on Christmas Day, there's still a lot Kardashian and West have to prepare for. She still has a month to go, and they still haven't even thought of a name. "I don't have names, which is so crazy," Kardashian told E! News. "We just started talking about it and that was the last thing for us last time. So I feel confident that we'll figure it out."
