Despite everything that is going on with George Karl and DeMarcus Cousins off the court, the Sacramento Kings have won three consecutive games and are now 4-7 on the season. The Kings schedule to start the season has been rough and they have dealt with a lot of injuries but it seems like they will be getting back to full strength very soon. Cousins is back and dominating after missing four games with an Achilles injury and Darren Collison may make his return on Wednesday, according to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.

Collison has missed each of the Kings last five games while dealing with a hamstring injury but Karl believes that he won't have to miss any more time. "My gut says he's going to play Wednesday, I think he'd say that too," said Karl.

Collison injured his hamstring against the Houston Rockets about a week and a half ago and the Kings said that he would be out indefinitely. In this case indefinitely seems like it will be less than two weeks as Collison looks like he will be ready to return when they take on the Atlanta Hawks which is the first game of a five game road trip for the Kings.

The Kings really need Collison back too as he is not only third on the team in scoring but he is the only other point guard on the roster besides Rajon Rondo. While Collison has been out Seth Curry too has missed time and the Kings have not had anyone to play behind Rondo. For that reason Rondo has averaged 46 minutes per game in the last four while playing all 48 minutes on two separate occasions.

Rondo has played well for the Kings, especially recently, but playing that many minutes is not sustainable so getting Collison back will be huge. Before the injury Collison was playing alongside Rondo a fair amount too and he gives them another scoring and passing option that will help. In his six games played this season Collison is averaging 15.8 points and 5.2 assists per game while shooting 42 percent from three so having him back should help the Kings continue this nice little roll they are currently on.
