The boys of One Direction may be multi-millionaires from their massive music empire, but one band member apparently feels like he shouldn't be paying for his own phone bill, especially since he racks up such big charges.

"Our data charges are quite ridiculous really. In no time the bills become massive as my mates will keep on ringing and chatting. They don't know or maybe they don't care that it's me paying the bill," Louis Tomlinson recently told The Sun. "So far Simon hasn't shown any interest in paying. It's time he started to dig deep."

While Tomlinson was most likely just joking, a Heat World editor who covered the story posed the questions, "We have just a couple of comments about this. Surely millionaire boy band members can afford to pay their own phone bill? And hasn't Louis ever heard of Skype or Facetime?" and joked that what with Simon Cowell's new baby on the way, Tomlinson would consider himself very lucky if his boss granted that wish.

Although Celebrity Net Worth estimates that the boys of One Direction, including Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, are worth a combined $30 million, music mogul and television personality Simon Cowell tops them by a landslide with an estimated worth of $370 million and an annual salary of around $95 million.

As for Cowell's first child, the bundle of joy is expected to arrive in February, and he and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman have adopted two puppies they've named "Squiddly and Diddly" (whom they've even created Twitter accounts for!) in anticipation of becoming parents. We assume the baby's name won't be so silly, though we wonder if he or she will receive their own Twitter account...

One Direction is currently on the Australian leg of their "Take Me Home Tour," which has raked in more than $49.6 million since it began back in February. It's set to end Nov. 13, a week before the release of their third and forthcoming studio album, "Midnight Memories," which will hit stores Nov. 25. The new record has been described as having a more "rock" edge as compared to the band's previous pop works.
