Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner will be filing for divorce but not until the end of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." Kris and Bruce have said that neither one had plans on filing for divorce but a source told Radar Online that they do want to officially end their 22 year marriage but not before the reality show goes off the air.

"Bruce and Kris will file for divorce but not until the current contract for the shows comes to an end," the source said. "No one would watch if there wasn't drama, separation leaves it up in the air and will make viewers want to tune in. But once it's over, it will be over for the marriage too - once and for all."

The show is scheduled to stay on air until 2015. Kris signed a deal with E! back in 2012 for three more seasons. The deal was reportedly worth more than $40 million, which made it the most lucrative deal in reality TV history.

"Kris thinks a long drawn out separation will keep viewers coming back for more and the show needs it, at the moment," the source said.

"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" has seen a steady decline in viewership. It was rumored that if numbers keep dropping E! would snatch the show off TV earlier than expected. According to Radar, the September premiere only brought in 1.79 million viewers whereas the Season 8 premiere, "We're Having a Baby," brought in 3.02 million viewers.

According to several reports the family is trying to bring in viewers by airing their drama like Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's marriage troubles and Kris and Bruce going out on dates with new people.

"Kris and Bruce are best friends and will milk their split for everything it's worth," a source told Hollywood Life.
