Marvel's "Doctor Strange," starring Benedict Cumberbatch, has added "Transparent" actress Amy Landecker to its impressive cast, The Wrap reports.

Scott Derrickson is directing the film, which also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton and Mads Mikkelsen. It is unknown what Landecker's role in the film will be as of now.

Cumberbatch will be playing renowned neurosurgeon Stephen Strange, who loses the ability to weild a scalpel after a terrible car accident. On his global search for a cure, he discovers a mysterious world of magic and alternate realities. Marvel has promised that "Doctor Strange" will be unlike any other MCU film that has come before it. Similarly, the original comic was a much more psychedelic story than its contemporaries.

"Doctor Strange" is set to hit theaters on Nov. 4, 2016.
