The first and inaugural Twenty 20 International ( T20I) between host Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will be played at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka Friday.

The home side crushed Zimbabwe by 61 runs in the third ODI on Monday to complete a 3-0 series whitewash, according to Sky Sports. Fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman's five wicket haul in the third ODI helped his team secure the win.

"This is an exceptional year for us. Mustafizur is the great revelation of the year. He continues impressing us and I hope he will keep it up," Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said, according to The Times of India.

Zimbabwe, which has recently lost an ODI series to Afghanistan and became the first full ICC member to lose to an affiliate nation, is desperate to register it's first win of the Bangladesh tour.

Zimbabwean skipper Elton Chigumbura held batsmen for the embarrassing ODI series defeat. "We started to get better but obviously it is too late when you consider that it is a three-match series," he said, according to The Herald.
