The Pfefferman family has cordially invited everyone to spend time with them again in the second season of "Transparent" on Amazon, but watch out because things are about to get messy.

And who would expect anything less from Maura and her family?

The Emmy-winning Jeffrey Tambor returns as the transgender leading lady, Maura Pfefferman, when the show returns to streaming on Friday, Dec. 11 on Amazon Prime Video.

The new season will feature special guest stars Anjelica Huston and Cherry Jones as well as Kathryn Hahn, Carrie Brownstein, Alexandra Billings, Tig Notaro, Alex MacNicoll and Trace Lysette.

NBC Will Host Four-Way Crossover Between All of Dick Wolf's Dramas

Much like last year's three-way crossover between "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago P.D.," the Dick Wolf productions family affair will add a fourth player, "Chicago Med," to its special event episodes this season.

Wolf announced on Monday a four-way crossover is in the works and predicted the episodes will air on NBC during February sweeps.

Fox Orders Live-Action/Animated Hybrid Comedy Starring Jason Sudeikis

Fox has ordered the new comedy series, "Son of Zorn," from "The Lego Movie" writers-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller for the 2016-2017 season. The show is a live-action/animated hybrid that stars Jason Sudeikis as the voice of Zorn.

Here's the synopsis provided by Fox:

"Upon arriving home on Earth for the first time in 10 years, Zorn, a fully animated, legendary warrior, finds that reconnecting with his live-action son, Alan (Johnny Pemberton), and ex-wife, Edie (Cheryl Hines), while suffering through a mundane office job and the banality of suburban life, is harder than waging actual war in his distant, mystical homeland of Zephyria."

Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein are back for more quirky comedy in the sixth season of "Portlandia," which will premiere its 10-episode, sixth season on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 10 p.m.

Syfy Greenlights Unscripted Series "The Internet Ruined My Life"

Syfy has started production on a new original unscripted series called, "The Internet Ruined My Life," which will premiere in early 2016. The show will expose the unexpected perils of living in a social media obsessed world by telling the real life stories of people who had posts, tweets or status updates backfire.

COOPER BARRETT'S GUIDE TO SURVIVING LIFE: Jane Kaczmarek and Alan Ruck will play the parents of Cooper Barrett (Jack Cutmore-Scott) and his brother Josh (Justin Bartha) on the upcoming Fox comedy, according to TVLine.

ONCE UPON A TIME: Victoria Smurfit will reprise her role as the Disney villain Cruella de Vil on the ABC drama, according to Entertainment Weekly. She will return for multiple episodes in the second half of the season, but will not appear in the 100th episode, which will see a number of past characters return.

ROSEWOOD: "Orange Is the New Black" star Alysia Reiner will join the Fox freshmen series in a recurring role, according to Deadline. She will play Lilian Izikoff, a former beauty queen who is the unsupportive mother of TMI (Anna Konkle).
