Joey Feek, one-half of the husband and wife country music duo Joey & Rory, has been moved into hospice care one month after announcing that she will no longer receive treatments for her terminal cancer diagnosis, People reported. Joey's husband Rory posted an update on his wife's current condition to his blog, "This Life I Live."

The 40-year-old singer and mother was diagnosed with stage four cervical cancer earlier this year, WKRN reported. She underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatments, but stopped her treatments after the cancer spread.

"At 4 am on Friday morning we rushed Joey to the hospital in Muncie. Her pain had become too much to bare," Rory wrote on his blog post, titled "An Answer To Prayer." "A few hours later the doctors told us that the pain was from the cancer tumors continuing to grow and become inflamed and we need to concentrate now on helping her be comfortable."

Rory explained that the family has arranged for a hospital bed to be installed in their home and hospice care will be provided, according to the blog post. That way, Joey can be comfortable at home and spend time with the couple's 20-month-old daughter, Indiana.

"The last couple of mornings, I've brought Indiana up here to spend time with her mama," Rory wrote. "Both of their eyes light up the moment they see each other. It's been beautiful."

He shared a photo of Joey with little Indiana laying in her lap on the duo's Instagram page and fans have left comments with prayers and condolences.

"Joey is at peace with where she is and where she's going," Rory explained in his blog post. "So am I."
