Another John F. Kennedy assassination theorist has published a book claiming Lee Harvey Oswald is the lone gunman, causing conspiracy theorists to question the findings.

Almost 50 years since the JFK's death, professor Larry Sabato, director of the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia, has released a new conspiracy book. "The Kennedy Half-Century" allegedly reveals new evidence about the assassination and the flaws of the Warren Commission.

Sabato told the "CBS This Morning" his book has "completely blown the 1979 House Select Committee on Assassinations report 'out of the water.'"

"Their evidence simply does not hold. And they concluded there was a conspiracy. Does it mean that no one encouraged Oswald or that Oswald had no compatriots working with him? I can't say that for sure because the Warren Commission was also deeply flawed," Sabato told the morning show. "They made so many mistakes in their process, they didn't interview key witnesses that I interviewed 50 years after the assassination and I was stunned to find out they weren't part of that study."

Sabato claims Oswald acted along in the Nov. 22, 1965 assassination of JFK in Dallas, Texas and the shooting of Gov. Connally. According to CBS, his theory is that another alleged gunman either did not fire or missed while shooting their gun behind the picket fence of the Grassy Knoll in Dealey Plaza.

Still, conspiracy theorists will poke holes in Sabato's findings, and the professor did admit he believes new theories of JFK assassination will be released 100 years into the future.

"That's because the Warren Commission did not go down the hot trails when we had the chance to interview the right people," Sabato told CBS. "They could have done it but essentially they were lied to by the CIA, the president at the time, Lyndon Johnson did not want a thorough study, and so we didn't get one. It was on a political timetable with a political conclusion that Oswald acted alone."

Sabato added the entire investigation and the report was flawed, and government should have given the American people a thorough investigation.

"And this is the murder of a young president. This is the youngest president ever elected," Sabato said. "The youngest to die. We needed a thorough investigation and the American people would have waited and paid whatever was necessary to get it."

"The Kennedy Half-Century" will be release Tuesday, Oct. 15.
