Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is using her popularity to help her fellow Democrats. She has sent out emails to help Senate candidates in tight election races for 2016.

In an email, Warren asked her supporters to donate to the campaigns of three Democratic Senate candidates, according to Daily Kos. She expressed her support for Nevada candidate Catherine Cortes Masto, Wisconsin candidate Russ Feingold and New Hampshire governor Maggie Hassan.

"Catherine, Russ and Maggie have all stood up to the powerful interests. You can help us build the biggest grassroots campaign in Senate history,'' said Warren in the email, according to Daily Kos.

Warren is a powerful asset in the Democratic party. With her populist message, many voters and candidates are listening to her. Even though she isn't running for president, her arguments against Wall Street and for the middle class have become talking points in the Democratic presidential campaign.

"The goal we've had all year is to make sure that 2016 is fought over Warren-wing ideas," said Adam Green, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee,  according to the Los Angeles Times . "And that's absolutely come true." 'Both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have talked about economic issues affecting Americans more since Warren's election to the Senate in 2012.

Despite reports that she's hypocritical and profited from foreclosed homes, according to the National Review, Warren has struck a chord with middle class Democratic voters.
