The St. Louis Rams and the Miami Dolphins are reportedly expected to have scouts at Memphis' game this weekend to scout quarterback Paxton Lynch, according to Chase Goodbread of College Football 24/7.

The Tigers host Navy this weekend, and the Midshipmen are 6-1 on the season and present a difficult challenge for Lynch. The Tigers quarterback is having a huge season and has led Memphis to an undefeated season thus far. Lynch has been gaining interest around the NFL, and the Broncos, Texans and Bills have already called his high school coach to find out more about the player.

Lynch is reportedly the top prospect at his position in the 2016 NFL draft and has passed California's Jared Goff and Michigan State's Connor Cook in the process. The junior quarterback has thrown for more than 2,700 yards this season and has 18 touchdowns to just one interception. Lynch has had some huge wins this season, including a victory over Ole Miss.

Scouts are likely impressed with what Lynch has done playing in the AAC, and he is showing himself as the top prospect at his position. The Dolphins just gave Ryan Tannehill a contract extension, but the Miami quarterback has shown little promise this season. Tannehill has thrown 13 touchdowns to nine interceptions and has four fumbles this season. The Dolphins could be taking a look at Lynch, as they may not be sold on Tannehill after giving him a huge contract.

The Rams gave Nick Foles a contract extension prior to this season, but it is only a two-year extension. Foles has struggled to produce for the Rams this season and has thrown seven touchdowns to five interceptions with two fumbles. The Rams could be looking for a future franchise quarterback in Lynch, but they will likely need a high draft pick to get the coveted prospect.

Multiple teams are reportedly interested in Lynch, and he will be heavily watched down the stretch of this season. Memphis will probably have scouts at every game the rest of their season. It will be interesting to follow Lynch the rest of the year, but the junior quarterback hasn't even decided if he will enter the draft following this season.
