Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Kamar Aiken is a hot commodity in fantasy football, and he is getting picked up quickly across leagues, and not without good reason. The third year receiver will most likely get an increased number of targets now that Steve Smith Sr., is out for the season with a torn Achilles.

Aiken has 25 receptions for 333 yards and two touchdowns this season, and his numbers will likely increase dramatically without Smith on the field. After Smith went down Sunday against the Chargers, Aiken caught five passes for 59 yards, and even drew a flag on a 21-yard pass, getting an interference call. Aiken will continue to see more targets as he will step in to the number one receiver spot for Baltimore.

The Ravens and quarterback Joe Flacco are going with the next man up mentality with Aiken. "It's not like we're just going to be playing with a ghost out there," said Flacco, via ESPN. "We're going to have a guy that's perfectly capable of making a ton of plays, and we're going to have to rely on him to do so."

The Ravens signed free agent wide receiver Joe Morgan on Wednesday, as their team is depleted at the receiver position. While the Ravens have weapons in Morgan, Crockett Gillmore, Marlon Brown and Chris Givens, expect Aiken to see a majority of the targets as he looks to have the best connection with Flacco. Aiken has five more receptions than Gillmore and 12 more receptions than the third leading receiver Brown.

Aiken looks to be huge pick up in most fantasy leagues, and although the Ravens have a bye this week, he is worth the pickup because he will likely be gone by the end of the week in most leagues.
