More than 167,000 pounds of ground beef processed by All American Meats that has been shipped nationwide is being recalled due to potential E. Coli contamination, according to the USDA.

The recall comes in the light of a test from Oct. 30 when a sample of the beef tested positive for the bacteria. So far, there have been no confirmed reports of illness linked to the meat.

The beef products affected by the recall have the establishment number "EST 20420," which include:

• 80-lb. (approximate weight) boxes of "Ground Beef 80% Lean 20% Fat (Fine Grind)" with Sell By Date 11-03-2015 and case code 62100.

The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service advises consumers to consume only ground beef after it's thoroughly cooked and is no longer pink in the middle, since E.Coli typically die off in high heat, according to Yahoo! Health.

Anyone who finds they are in possession of the potentially contaminated meat should either throw it away or return it to its place of purchase.
