Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has reportedly been playing with multiple fractured ribs, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.

Luck reportedly had a slightly separated shoulder earlier this season, and the Colts quarterback seems to be constantly battling injuries this year. The Colts face the undefeated Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football, and it will be interesting to see if the injured ribs affect his play at all.

The Panthers have a hard-hitting defense, and the Colts will look to keep their franchise quarterback safe. The Colts are 3-4 in the season after losing to the New Orleans Saints last week but are still in first place a game ahead of the Houston Texans in the AFC South.

The Colts face two unbeaten teams with good defenses in the next two weeks against the Panthers and the Denver Broncos. Colts owner Jim Irsay is reportedly thinking about making staff changes in-season if the team doesn't show any improvement before the bye week, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

Luck has clearly struggled this season, but he has shown improvement in recent weeks. The Colts former first round pick has thrown 1,398 yards this season with 11 touchdowns to nine interceptions. Although the Colts lost their last two games, Luck has thrown six touchdowns to two interceptions in those games.

Luck is clearly not playing as well as he did last season, but luckily for Colts fans, he has time to improve. The Colts play in one of the weakest divisions in the AFC South, and Indianapolis is likely hoping that their star quarterback can improve and get healthier as the season continues.
