Former NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal will give "The Real" an exclusive interview on Monday, Nov. 2, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

The civil rights activist resigned from a local NAACP chapter and lost her part-time professorship when it was revealed that she had been lying about her ethnicity for years, the AJC reported.

In an intense interview on "The Real" with celebrity hosts Tamar Braxton, Tamera Mowry-Housely, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon, Love asks Dolezal some direct questions, The Grio noted.

"Are you ashamed of being white?" Love asks Dolezal.

“As Dick Gregory says, ‘White is not a race it’s a state of mind,’ and nothing about whiteness describes me,” Dolezal says.

“Okay, let me tell you something,” Love says. "I’m black. I can’t be you. I can’t reverse myself. Let me tell you, Rachel, if the police stop me…you can throw that off and show that little light, nice, fine hair up under [Loni gesturing to her hair]. You might get away. I may not, I may not even make it in the jail. So it’s a difference.”

The former NAACP chapter president refuted the assertion that she is white, according to Centric TV. She addresses the controversial claim that she feels like a black woman.

Earlier this year, music superstar Rihanna applauded Dolezal for changing everyone's perspective on race.

"I think she was a bit of a hero, because she kind of flipped on society a little bit," Rihanna told Vanity Fair. "Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people's perspective a bit and woke people up."

On "The Real" Dolezal wears her hair in long loose curls, as opposed to braids she has worn in the past, noted the AJC. She shows a noticeable baby bump in her blue wrap dress. Earlier this year the renowned civil rights activist revealed that she is pregnant with her third child.
