Taylor Swift filed a counterclaim in a lawsuit brought forward by Denver radio DJ David Mueller who said the pop star falsely accused him of groping her at a 2013 meet-and-greet, the Associated Press reported. Mueller's suit claimed he lost his job due to the false allegations.

Mueller, a country music DJ for radio station 98.5 KYGO in Denver, attended a meet-and-greet backstage at Swift's June 2, 2013 concert at the Pepsi Center as part of his job with the "Ryno and Jackson" morning show, according to local paper Denver Post reported. The suit, which was filed in U.S. district court in Denver in September, claimed that Swift falsely accused Mueller of groping her while they posed for photos at the meet-and-greet.

The lawsuit claimed that Mueller was fired on June 4, 2013, and claimed the allegations have since prevented him from finding other business opportunities, and blamed Mueller's "superior" Eddie Haskell for the incident.

"Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault - it was Mueller - and she is not confused in the slightest about whether her long-term business acquaintance, Mr. Haskell, was the culprit," claimed the countersuit obtained People.

"Mueller did not merely brush his hand against Ms. Swift while posing for the photograph," the documents read. "He lifted her skirt and groped her."

Swift is asking for a jury trial, according to the suit, and she plans to donate any money she wins to a charity that is "dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard."
