Russell Brand's new documentary "BRAND: A Second Coming" will allow fans to get a taste of the bizarre life that the 40-year-old comedian, actor and author lives as he explores his fame, his past relationships and his desire to change the world.

In the official trailer, you get a glimpse at all the crazy things that have happened in Brand's life, including a few shots of him comparing himself to Jesus and even slamming his ex-wife Katy perry. "Oh my f-king god," you can hear him say after a few clips of him and the pop star are shown. "I'm living this life of the very thing I detest. Vapid, vacuous celebrity. Fame and power is bulls-t."

The two got married in 2010 until Brand filed for divorce just 14 months later. The news came as a shock to all, including Perry, as he apparently broke it to her via text message. In the documentary, Brand goes on to mock his wife in some stand-up routines and even admits to his friend Stephen Merchant that he didn't think their marriage would ever last, according to the Daily Mail. "It's definitely good I'm with someone I love," he tells Merchant. "But it's not a resolution to anything spiritual...This is my suspicion, that at some point, to be happy, I'm going to have to walk away."

"Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it doesn't," Brand said of their marriage during an interview with Australia's "60 Minutes" in 2012. "But if you sort of sense there's an incompatibility, then in any relationship regardless of the status of the individual, it kind of is best to go separate ways."

Perry, on the other hand, was completely heartbroken. "I was in bed for about two weeks. I was pretty f-ked, yes. It hurt a lot-I got a good knock," she told The Sunday Times in 2013 on creating her breakup album, according to Us Weekly. "What I wanted to call this record ['Prisim'] at first was Adult Reality because 'Teenage Dream' was so high on that cotton candy cloud, and then it's like I got punched in the face and kicked down the stairs a couple of times. So I had to face the reality that things are not always on cloud nine."

"BRAND: A Second Chance" will hit theaters exclusively in Fall 2015.
