New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes left Game 4 of the NLCS in the second inning with an AC joint injury in his left shoulder. Will this be an issue for the Mets in the 2015 World Series?

Based on Cespedes' responses to questions, it's unclear.

On Monday he told Mike Vorkunov of the Newark Star-Ledger that he feels "one hundred and 10 percent," but on Tuesday he wasn't feeling as confident about the shoulder ailment.

"I still feel a little discomfort -- nothing compared to what I felt in Chicago, when I had to leave the game," Cespedes told ESPN Deportes' Marly Rivera, via Adam Rubin of ESPNNewYork.com. "It will not prevent me from swinging, but I am not 100 percent. I'm not playing with a full tank.

"If I can't hit -- and I do think I will be able to -- I can run, I can field and I can throw. I can do everything else that I know how to do."

This comes a day after he told reporters that he plans to play golf (which is believed to have hurt his shoulder in the first place) during the postseason as long as his left shoulder feels fine.

That's not exactly reassuring, but manager Terry Collins didn't sound at all concerned about Cespedes. Check out he and Cespedes speak with reporters on World Series Media Day:

Cespedes batted .265 with six runs scored, two home runs and seven RBI in the team's nine postseason games against the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs. Aside from Daniel Murphy and Curtis Granderson, Cespedes has been the Mets' most consistent hitter in the playoffs and they'll need his bat in the lineup to provide more of a threat to the Royals' pitching staff.

Stay tuned for any updates regarding Cespedes' status as we get closer to game time.
