Since the first two episodes of “Once Upon a Time” have taken place in the Enchanted Forest and Neverland, fans may forget that Storybrooke still exists. However, it does.

If you recall the Season 2 finale, Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) handed Belle (Emilie de Ravin) instructions to perform a cloaking spell on Storybrooke since Greg (Ethan Embry) and Tamara (Sonequa Martin-Green) weren’t working alone and he feared the town may not be safe. With the power of the cloaking spell, no one would be able to find the Storybrooke.

During last week’s episode, we learned that even though Belle appeard to Rumple in some sort of hallucination, she is still very much in Storybrooke. According to TVLine.com, de Ravin confirmed as much.

“I just shot some stuff in Storybrooke, actually, and it was nice to work with people there who I hadn’t usually worked with,” she told the website. She added that her character has becomes friends with someone “who may be a mermaid.”

In last week’s episode, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) figured out that she had to acknowledge herself as an orphan or “Lost Girl” in order to solve the map that would lead her to Henry (Jared S. Gilmore). Before the episode ended, Pan (Robbie Kay) promised her she would leave the island as an orphan. It appears he may be right since we find out that Charming (Josh Dallas) was poisoned by Dreamshade from one of the Lost Boys arrows. If Pan thinks he has taken care of Emma’s father, will he try to go after Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) next?

“Once Upon a Time” airs Sundays at 8/7c on ABC.
