Lindsay Lohan took to Instagram Friday to announce that she wants to run for President in 2020, citing Kanye West, who has White House ambitions of his own.

The "Mean Girls" actress shared a photo of herself at the 2012 White House Correspondents Dinner, which she attended as Greata Van Susteren's guest. "In #2020 I may run for president," she wrote, adding, "lets do this @kanyewest ... thank you for inspiring us to be better people," according to Entertainment Weekly.

She posted another picture of herself with West captioned: “The first thing I would like to do as president … is take care of all of the children suffering in the world.”

“#queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country,” she added.

LiLo shared a photo in a later post showing her "experience" with children in which she was embracing a child, presumably from India, which also included a picture of Mahatma Gandhi.

It looks like the 2020 presidential race is heating up with West making his declaration nearly two months ago at the 2015 MTV VMA's, as HNGN previously reported.

Lohan hasn't exactly had a boast-worthy political past. She made an offer to assist in President Barack Obama's election campaign, but the offer was declined, according to New York Magazine.
