As most people know by now Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel earlier this week and he is fighting for his life. The latest update on Odom was that he is feared to be brain dead and that his family is saying their final goodbyes. Master P thinks this all could have been avoided and that Kobe Bryant should have done more to help out his former teammate with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to TMZ Sports.

Master P has had close ties to Odom throughout his NBA career and he was fired up in this video with TMZ. The rapper, born Percy Robert Miller, says that Odom desperately wanted to get back into the league and that Kobe could have done more to make that happen.

"If Kobe was his friend...Kobe, like, owns the Lakers. He could've got the man back on the team. That's all he wanted," said Miller.

Master P believes that the NBA "blackballed" Odom because of his involvement with Khloe Kardashian and the fact that he was constantly on the VH1 TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." Miller also didn't care that Bryant vistited Odom in the hospital because he felt it meant nothing and he even went as far as to call Kobe a "phony."

Master P is best known as a rapper and an entrepreneur who founded the record label No Limit Records which was extremely successful in the late 1990's and the early 2000's. Some of the bigger artists on his label were Snoop Dogg and Mystikal.

There continues to be developments in the Odom situation and people weighing in but this take by Master P is definitely out of left field. He said Bryant basically owns the Lakers but in reality he doesn't make the roster decisions and who knows if he could have actually done anything to help out Lamar.
