Fresh off of Tuesday's first Democratic presidential debate, candidate Bernie Sanders danced his way onto the stage at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." The Vermont Senator laughed along with DeGeneres and the crowd as he danced and clapped (a little off beat) to the classic song "Disco Inferno" by The Trammps.

"You came out here dancing, Bernie! That's fantastic," DeGeneres told Sanders, who replied, "And thank you for the very positive energy you provide to the American people."

The presidential candidate, 74, then sat down with DeGeneres and discussed a variety of topics. Sanders even took part in the host's "Hot Seat" segment, where Sanders answered some hilarious personal questions, all while raising money for breast cancer research.

"If you had to pick a Republican presidential candidate to be stuck on a deserted island with, who would it be?," DeGeneres asked Sanders.

"Marco Rubio," Sanders replied, "He is used to the sun."

Sanders also told the host what the name of his Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor would be, whether he or Donald Trump has better hair and who his favorite member of One Direction is!

Sanders appearance on DeGeneres' show came about one month after his fellow Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton danced her way onto the daytime talk show.

DeGeneres' interview with Sanders airs on Thursday, Oct. 15.
