CBS is swapping the premieres of its returning series "2 Broke Girls" and new comedy "Angel from Hell."

CBS has moved up "2 Broke Girls" to premiere its fifth season on Thursday, Nov. 12 while "Angel from Hell," starring Jane Lynch," has been pushed back to debut in February 2016. The Kat Dennings-Beth Behrs comedy will follow "Mom" at 9:30 p.m.

A CBS insider told TVLine that the network "wanted to put some distance between its new show launches." Its other new comedy, "Life in Pieces," premiered last month.

"Angel from Hell" stars Lynch as Amy, a colorful, brassy guardian angel for Maggie Lawson's Allison, an intense, driven doctor. Allison's life starts to come off the rails when Amy enters her life trying to provide helpful guidance and point her life in the right direction. The show also stars Kevin Pollack as Allison's business partner, Marv, and Kyle Bornheimer as her brother, Brad.

The scheduling changes will not affect the fourth season premiere of "Elementary" on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
