A teen hunting for birds in the Philippines claims to have found a fuselage "full of skeletons" and emblazoned with a Malaysian flag, which authorities believe may be missing Flight MH370.

The man whose nephew made the alleged discovery also claimed the aircraft part contained skeletal remains with fastened seatbelts, along with skeletons strewn about outside the wrecked part.

The uncle, 46-year-old Jamil Omar, said his nephew discovered the human bones in the alleged Malaysian Airlines cockpit, before leaving the area with the flag emblazoned plane piece, reported the New York Post. He noted the discovery was made in September but didn't know it's potential significance since he has no access to television or newspapers.

"There was a skeleton still in the pilot's seat. The pilot had his safety belt on and the communication gear attached to his head and ears," Omar told local police, Free Malaysia Today reports.

The teen also allegedly swiped a piece of the flag to use as a blanket.

State Commissioner Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman, of Malaysia's Sabah region, said the report was made yesterday and has prompted an investigation by authorities Monday, according to Express.

This discovery comes hot on the heels of last month's discovery of the plane's flaperon which was confirmed to be authentic after a scientic investigation.
