Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump was a bit disappointed with President Obama's interview on "60 Minutes" Sunday night, telling Fox News on Monday that he watched the president's performance and "thought it was terrible" and "sad."

"I thought it was sad because everything's negative, you know, there's nothing positive," Trump told Fox and Friends, reports Mediaite.

"It's not, 'How come we're doing so well here, how'd you get these great trade deals?' Instead we have a trade deal that's a disaster and even Hillary Clinton finally got smart even though she supported it, she probably heard my stance," Trump said.

Trump also bashed the president for talking too much about climate change while ignoring "all of the problems we've got," like the Islamic Stage group and unemployment.

"All [Obama] talks about is climate change," Trump said. "And that is not our problem, folks."

During Obama's interview Sunday night, he called Trump a "great publicity-seeker" who "knows how to get attention," according to CBS News.

"He is, you know, the classic reality TV character and, at this early stage, it's not surprising that he's gotten a lot of attention," Obama said, adding that he doesn't believe Trump will "end up being president of the United States."

Trump responded to Obama's prediction on Monday, saying, "He can't say, 'I think he's going to make it,' in all fairness. He can't say...'Well I think he's going to be the next president,'" reports CNN.
