Sean Miller and the Arizona basketball program took a huge hit this summer when former commit T.J. Leaf de-commited from the school and re-opened his recruitment. The five-star power forward is a highly touted recruit and has left the Wildcats' 2016 class barron so far. Miller has now turned his attention to four-star power forward Mitch Lightfoot who just finished up his official visit to Arizona and is looking to make a decision within the next week, according to Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv.

Lightfoot visited Arizona's campus over this weekend and had great things to say about the school and program while also saying his decision is coming soon.

"It went really well, I'm gonna take a week or so to decide where my future lies. [At Arizona] there is a huge opportunity for me to come in and play as a freshman at a Final 4 program," said Lightfoot.

The 6 foot-8 forward hasn't decided on a date to make his decision but he is choosing between five schools at the moment. Arizona, St. Johns, Kansas, Stanford and Utah made the final five for Lightfoot but 247 Sports thinks it is a two horse race between the Wildcats and the Cardinal for the rising prospect with Arizona being the slight favorite.

Lightfoot previously had committed to New Mexico but de-commited as he saw his stock rising and was then recruited by some high major schools. The Tucson, Arizona native is ranked as the 99th best prospect overall in the 2016 class and 25th best power forward, according to ESPN. Lightfoot's best assets on the court are his motor which never stops running and his athleticism both in transition and on defense in shot-blocking. He will need to put on some weight but he is the type of player that can come in and be a nice role player right away for a school.

Although Lightfoot isn't the most highly thought of recruit in the class he would be a huge commit for Arizona as their 2016 recruiting has gotten off to a sluggish start. The Wildcats are still in on some of the top players including 35th ranked prospect Andrew Jones but adding Lightfoot would be a nice place to start for Sean Miller.
