Sifting through all of the possible casting rumors for "Star Wars: Episode VII" is quite a daunting task; there are so many names in the mix it's hard to tell which rumors have substance and which ones should be tossed aside as rubbish.

Well, it turns out that even the actors who are auditioning for the film feel overwhelmed by the amount of people being mentioned as possibly attached to the J.J. Abrams directed re-launch of the franchise.

Saoirse Ronan, the 19-year-old actress who starred in "Hanna" and "The Lovely Bones," confirmed rumors that she had auditioned for a role in the upcoming "Star Wars" film while promoting her new movie "How I Live Now," according to Sky News.

Upon confirming that she had auditioned for a role Ronan joked "so has everyone." Ronan is thought to have been auditioning for the part of the daughter of Han Solo and Leia. When Ronan was asked if she could give away any details about the upcoming film she said that the bosses would likely "chop off her head with a lightsaber," according to SKY News.

J.J. Abrams has a reputation for playing his cards close to his chest when it comes to his upcoming projects; while there are a lot of rumors about the new "Star Wars" film there is very little that can be confirmed.

The one thing that people seem to know for sure is that the film is supposed to take place roughly 30 years after the second Death Star was blown up and the Rebels celebrated by dancing around with ewoks and singing "Jub Jub."

The list of actors who have been connected to the film is basically a who's who in Hollywood. Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill have all been rumored to be reprising their roles from the original trilogy.

The majority of the rumors that have surfaced have come and gone with one exception; it is strongly believed that Benedict Cumberbatch, who worked with Abrams on "Star Trek Into the Darkness", will appear in "Star Wars: Episode VII," according to the Huffington Post.
